Bushman's Kloof  is a luxury lodge and Nature Reserve easily reached about 4 hour drive North of Cape Town on good roads.

Food and Wine.  This Relais and Chateaux property has a culinary tradition that cannot be exceeded, combining a Cape Malay inspiration, fresh ingrediants including herbs grown on the estate.  It really is to our mind the best food in South Africa. 

That the wine list has   won award after award counts less than that knowledgeable connoisseurs of South Africa's best wines will instantly know the quality of its cellar.  It features the stunning Chardonnays and Pinot Noirs of Bouchard Finlayson, as well as vintage Kanonkop Pinotage, Meerlust Rubicon, and the classic and unmatchable Buitenverwachtung Christine, just to start.

Meals are breakfast, brunch, high tea, and a formal a la carte dinner.

Rock Art and Wildlife Excursions

Bushmans Kloof has a very rich collection of rock art with over 300 sites and has its own archaeologist. Included in the fare are morning excursions to view Rock art and receive interpretational lectures.  Evening game drives in the reserve.
